Frequently asked questions

Product Decision Consulting

What kind of product can I bring?

A product idea, a capability inside a product, an internal product or platform, something being built or already live, or several initiatives competing for the same capacity.

Are data, analytics, or AI products included?

Yes. They receive additional depth when necessary, but they are still judged as products: by user, problem, value, evidence, stage, cost, and decision rather than technical feasibility alone.

Does the idea need to be validated already?

No. The evidence standard changes with stage. An idea may begin with observations and hypotheses; a live product must confront actual use and results.

Can I answer that I do not know yet?

Yes. Explicit unknowns are part of the dossier. The form does not ask you to invent certainty before the consulting begins.

What happens during the consulting?

We define the decision, confront the opportunity with the user and problem, separate reality from hypothesis, judge stage-appropriate evidence, expose opportunity cost and constraints, and choose the next move.

What decision may come out of the work?

Validate, build, continue, redirect, prioritize, defer, or stop. The conclusion also defines the smallest action capable of producing the evidence needed for the next decision.

Will you own the roadmap, design, or implementation?

No. This is not outsourced product management, complete discovery, detailed UX, functional specification, architecture, or implementation. One of those activities may be recommended and scoped separately.

What if product information is confidential?

Share only authorized material and state the need for an NDA before sending it. Unavailable or undisclosable information will be treated as a decision boundary.

Do you guarantee adoption, product-market fit, or return?

No. My commitment is to improve the decision, make risks and unknowns visible, and recommend a next move proportionate to the evidence. Markets and execution remain uncertain.

Reality before execution. Evidence before conviction.
